We got up early this morning and had a breakfast of tea and coffee on our porch before catching the first bus to Parque Nacional de Iguazu.

There were 4 different trails- the Lower Falls, the Upper Falls, Macuco Trail, and Garganta del Diablo. We jogged to the first trailhead to beat the crowds and were astounded with the views that we saw, first on the lower trail.
There were also some smaller falls scattered around with beautiful plants and butterflies all around.
From here we went to the upper trail to view the falls from the top. Still good views but not quite as spectacular as the lower trail.
From here there was a break in the waterfall action to take a much lesser traveled hike to hopefully see some wildlife. Cassie definitely gets the win on this one as she spotted a few Tucan’s in the distance! We also saw some coatimundi who notoriously steel food from the tourists around these parts, beware!
Now from the grand finale, we headed to the Garganta del Diablo (yep… another one).
After an exhausting day of walking, we ate dinner and slept like rocks.
I have no words this is just MAJESTIC. Congratulations. You have seen the wonders of nature.
Love you very much.
