Another day hike today, nothing too exciting to write about. Took a Colectivo (public bus transport) to national park Nahuel Huapi for the start of our hike. First stop were the Cascadas de los Duendes, or gnome waterfall (we think the gnomes live in a small cave behind the lower waterfall, can’t see it in the picture though, sorry):
After this was a fairly brutal, but short, uphill climb to a Mirador (scenic lookout).
From here it was another 5k or so of up and down terrain to reach the beach! We basically hung out here for a while, and Alejandro decided to freeze himself half to death and get in the ice cold water, but it’s what (very few) of the locals were doing!
That’s pretty much it. Made it back to the city, had some dinner, and an early night to prepare for the following day.

Small waterfall but pretty. My goodness you climb and climb. The lake scenery looks breathtaking, I hope Alejandro enjoyed going in the cold water. Love you very much
