Making it to Perú

Woke up bright and early in Tampa Florida to start our travels towards Peru.

Took a bus to Fort Lauderdale where our 5 hour flight to Lima would take off. The plane was super empty which was really nice!

We got to Lima in the late evening, with the plan to fly to Cusco early the next morning so decided to just kill time in the airport. Part of that included our first taste of the world famous peruvian cuisine! Cassie had traditional Aji de Gallina (curry-like chicken dish) and Alejandro ate Capchi de habas (soupy fava beans).

The night went by fairly quickly and without any hiccups. Before we knew it we were boarding to make it to Cusco, the late capital city for the Incas.
