Relaxing morning today… or it was supposed to be. It started out with our usual (for traveling) cup of coca tea. It is supposed to help with any altitude sickness (and we were at greater than 13,000 ft of elevation!).

However, while we were packing up our newly washed clothes that we picked up last night, we realized that we were both missing clothes! We spent most of the morning going through other people’s clean laundry at the laundromat looking for our missing items. Luckily we found them!

Next step, a bus to Uyuni. We got in around 4:30pm and checked in to our hotel. We went ahead and bought our onward bus tickets and walked around the town for a bit. For dinner, we had llama steak and llama stew (when in the altiplano, may as well eat the most accessible food). Alejandro couldn’t wait for the picture…

Nothing else much happened today. Hung out at the hostel until it was time for bed. Big trip starting tomorrow.
