This post will be short as not much happened today.
We started off with a smaller breakfast at the hotel because we wanted to try some of the breakfast food that the typical Bolivian’s ate. This lead us to the local market where we had 2 different types of Api, both blanco (white) and morado (purple). They are fairly heavy, sweet corn/maize based drinks, which are served hot and typically eaten with (Bolivian) buñuelos. How could we resist!

For lunch we of course had to have our last meal of trout, especially as this was the only time we got to try the local stands that were feet away from the Lake Titicaca shore. Cassie’s fish came out staring back at her… But either way it was delicious and a great meal to end our time in Copacabana.

We got on a bus to take us to La Paz where we had a short layover. One last view of the lake, and then also some views of the capital city La Paz. It’s actually kind of impressive how many buildings make up the city and how completely surrounded they are in the mountains.
Once we got on the bus for Sucre we were really excited to finally get true “Cama’s” (beds) for seats! Many of our trips had technically been called “cama” but this one had the real deal. Good night!
