Today started out with the continuation of the bus ride from Salta, Around 8 AM we pulled into customs for the border between Argentina and Chile. 2 hours later… we were finally on our way. The scenery from here was fantastic though- mountains, salt flats, flamingos, and alpaca, or were they llamas?!? (By the time we saw the animals, it was too late to get the camera out!)
Upon arriving in San Pedro around 1pm, we headed to our hostel to check in. Luckily, this one was way better than the one in Salta. We spent some time planning out what we’d be doing during our time here, and actually added a day to our stay because there was so much to do! We went to town and booked a tour and scouted out bike rentals for tomorrow.

After all of the meat we had over the last week, we decided it was time for some vegetables. We went to the local fruit and veggie market and basically bought everything that looked good and made an asian stir fry with veggies and egg for dinner.

Neither of us had slept that great in the bus the night before, so we made it an early night.
